  • Fenchurch AW10 Launch

    After the success of the Spring/ Summer 2010 Collection launch, Fenchurch clothing asked Hyponik to produce and manage their Autumn/ Winter 2010 Collection.

    The venue chosen was the Classic Car Club right by Old Street roundabout.

    Normally a garage for a high market car club, over 100 cars were pain stakingly removed earlier in the week, and then on the Wednesday evening we cleaned the venue and transformed it into a glamourous party venue to show off the new collection.

    7pm Thursday everything was ready to go as planned and 300 carefully invited guests feasted their eyes on yet another inspring collection from Fenchurch. Stem Design managed the food and complimentary Tuaca cocktails, and music was supplied by Toddla T, Mackeveli and party favourites The Nextmen.

  • Pull & Bear Shop Launch and Afterparty

    Hyponik were approached by the Hidden Agency to help with the forthcoming launch of massive Spanish clothing chain’s Flagship Store Opening on London’s Oxford Street.

    Hyponik programmed the music at the after party and the shop launch and I was brought in to oversee all the production for the shop launch as well as the after party at The Bathhouse in Liverpool Street.

    For the shop opening I dealt with all the technical side of things and the general logistics of doing a 200 capacity party with 3 live bands in a tightly packed clothing store in the heart of London’s shopping district.
    Needless to say we did it, and live sets from Filthy Dukes and Crystal Fighters went down a treat to more than 200 specially invited guests, press and fashionable types.

    For the after party I projected the shops logo onto the walls and screens, added some moving lights to add wow factor when people walked up to the venue, and we sourced masks to add a masked ball edge to the proceedings.

    The afterparty was rammed out by 11pm and featured the cream of London’s bass heavy scene to show the Spanish chain how people like things in London. Live sets by Drums of Death and Debruit, plus DJ sets from Joe Hotchip, Brackles, Cooly G and Patchwork Pirates rocked this amazing art deco venue.

  • World’s Smallest Festival

    Two film makers approached me to help them produce the World’s Smallest Festival.

    They had a site in mind and the concept but they needed me to help make it a reality.

    The festival was part of a 3 month project of theirs to make 1 million pounds to set up a film fund for budding film makers- www.blagamillion.com

    The plan was to get a massive artist to play, but only allow 100 people to come along. People who wanted tickets had to text a number and then 100 were picked out of a hat.

    I helped them source sound and lights and did all the licensing, health and safety, security and general event management.

    The day went very well and featured sets from Howard Marks, Arthur Smith, The Langley Sisters, Jarmean, The Popsocks and many many more, all nicely situated in a delightful back garden.

  • Fenchurch SS10 Launch

    Launching the new season for Fenchurch and also the birth of Hyponik’s new events arm.

    Adding to many years of event promotion and club nights across the capital, now helping brands and companies come up with interesting, individual and fun event solutions..

    To kick start this company, Fenchurch asked us to produce their new season with a star studded Launch Party.

    We sourced the venue, the sound, lights, decor, branding and generally gave them an awe inspiring event to start ten years in the business.

    Village Underground in Shoreditch was the location and after showcasing their new collection, the event went on late into the night with dj sets from BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Krafty Kuts and A Skillz from Finger Lickin’ Records.

  • BLOC Weekend Production Manager

    The largest event I production manage, BLOC is a 3 day electronic music festival in an off season holiday park. After the first 2 years at Pontin’s in Hemsby, Norfolk we’ve now tripled in size to the 6000 capacity Butlins Resort in Minehead, Somerset.

    After meeting the guys many years ago in Brighton, when they decided to start a weekender they contacted me to take care of producing the event for them.

    I organise all staffing, infrastructure, logistics and generally manage all the behind scenes work and crew that make it such an individual and ground breaking event!

    BLOC prides themselves on cutting edge lighting, sound, decor and AV and it’s my job to make sure that we have the best people working with us to make this happen, and to make sure that it all works well together.

    Still in it’s early days, but the reputation of the festival is growing fast with an allegiant fan base, as well as top press and radio support from Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank and Mary Anne Hobbs. We’re also now hosting the Vapor Stage for Friday and Saturday at this year’s Glade Festival.

    We’ve also recently hosted a room at Eastern Electrics in London as well as events in Paris at Le Batofar and a lot more afoot for later this year and 2010.

    As well as being able to source you the venue of your choice, whether it be field, warehouse, members club or simply just a pub, I can supply you with everything you may need- from soundsystem and lights to bar staff, cocktail bar, security staff, performers and musicians.
    I also do bookings for this wonderful venue in the heart of Clerkenwell. Ideal for photo shoots, art shows and invite only events.

  • Product Launches / Experiential and Corporate Events

    My work in festivals has put me in good stead to transfer my skills over to corporate client facing events.

    Recent work includes Beefeater 24 Product Launch with LV Events. A high budget event at Syon Park near Richmond with the client- Chivas Bros entertaining its reps from across the globe. After an initial reception in the stately home, guests were escorted into the Glass Pavilion where they were entertained my a variety of burlesque performances, musicians and sideshows. After this they were then shown into an exquisite ballroom where more music was on offer, including headliner Igloo & Hartley.

    I was involved in the set-up and breakdown of the event. From general aesthetics to ensuring all the crew were looked after, working safely and generally that the high standards set out by our client were adhered to.

    I’ve also recently worked with Drive Productions on a publicity stunt/ pr exercise for GymBox at their City Branch.

    I was the main point of reference for the client and made sure that the project was set-up on time and how the client wanted.

    Drive Productions created an exercise machine that used humans as the weights. It sounds odd, but it received lots of publicity which was exactly what the client required.
